the Institutional Training in the Academy, the Trainee Officers shall be

Personality Development
The Academy would organize programmes on Stress Management, Time Management, Management of Interpersonal Conflicts and Motivation etc. To develop integrated personality of Trainee Officers during the Orientation Programme, the Academy shall organize an outstation trip, at least for 7 days for the Trainee Officers, where they would have ample opportunities in conducive atmosphere to interact with each other and to develop integrated Judicial Personality. |

Part III: Reflective Training/Apprenticeship in
courts & Integrated Learning at the
Academy.
This part of the training would
be considered as Apprenticeship. During this period, the trainee officers of DJS
would be deputed in batches to dispose of summary trial cases and cases under
section 138 NI Act, in the permanent courts created by the High Court for this
purpose. In this duration they shall be under the supervision of a Sessions
Judge and in case of any difficulty they would approach the Sessions
Judge/CMM/ACMM.
The last 2 weeks of training would be spent by the trainee judges for Integrated
Learning at the academy. This duration will be utilized to clarify the
issues, which still bother the Trainee Officers about the job they are to
undertake and the functions they are to discharge.

Academy is presently located in Karkardooma Courts Complex, which is situated
in the trans Yamuna area of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Soon, the Academy would shift to Dwarka where
the Government has allotted 12 acres of land for an integrated complex, which
would house Delhi Judicial Academy, alongwith, a National Law School and a
National Mediation Training Centre. The
Hon’ble the Chief Justice of India laid the foundation stone of the integrated
complex in July 2006.

Address System, multimedia projector with screen etc.

and a Conference Hall, equipped with the latest technology of Public

Library with latest additions of text books on different subjects like
Criminal Law, Civil Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Information Technology,
Environmental Law etc. Besides journals
like AIR, SCC, SCALE, Academy subscribes various law reports like All England
Law Reports, US Supreme Court Reports and Halsbury’s Laws of India.
